Man, these photos break my heart. They definitely brought on an "I want my mommy" moment. I've been trying to tell Henry about Mom (not that I really know much to tell, but just that she was and will be again) and it has spurred such comments as "sometimes we die" and "shhh Lainie, Grandma Rae Lynn died". Maybe our talk was a bit premature, but I do want him to know about her. I'm glad your kids will too.
I feel you, Brady. I always miss home a little disproportionatley, and I think that's because she's home. Seeing your babies there with Catherine is beautiful.
"Nobody understands things as they are and the proof of this is that nobody,-not the greatest scientist, not the tenderest poet, not the most sensitive painter; only for a moment, the kindest lover can see that all is beautiful. I can't, I only believe that."
-Lincoln Steffens (in a letter to his 2-yr old son, Pete). Carlsbad, June 23, 1926
